2009-10 Alpine Coaches Clinic Schedule

Registration for alpine clinics is now available. Simply click on the links below to access the online regsitration through the Education Shop.

NOTE: Anyone may attend the Level 100 clinics, as a USSA member or a non-USSA member. However, in order to receive your full USSA Level 100 certification, you must become a USSA member.

Meeting times and locations will be sent via email a few days prior to the clinic. Please check your email during that time.

Clinics

The alpine coaches clinic schedule and online registration is now available. Online registration can be found by clicking on the blue links below. Registration is typically disabled 10 days prior to the clinic, but if the clinic is short on numbers, the registration will remain open until the minimum number of participants is filled. Registration will not be left open any longer than two days prior to the clinic.

Level 100 Mogul

The Mogul Level 100 clinic will cover all of the basics involved with becoming an entry level club coach. Topics covered will include Coaching Methodology and lesson planning, Skiing fundamentals framework, and the areas of basic skiing, pole plants, turning, and jumping. The level 100 will also be the first step in advancing onto the curriculum in level 200. The class will be a one day class with 4 hours of classroom and four hours of on-snow.

Level 200 Mogul

The Mogul Level 200 clinic will cover material specifically for the more experienced club coach who is either full or part time and working with a more elite level athlete. The curriculum will include more advanced skiing fundamentals, tactics, physical conditioning, nutrition, and more specific training plans for the elite club athlete. The class will be a two day class with 4 hours of classroom and 9 hours of on-snow
