Alyeska Ski Club, Junior Program (ASC) is accepting applications for a full time Program Director (PD) for our ski racing programs, J4 - Mid. ASC has a history extending over 40 years and has approximately 140 athletes in the program. PD will provide leadership in developing and achieving program goals, season objectives. Specific responsibilities include Athlete, Staff, & Budget Management, Training & Racing Coordination, Program Outreach, Sponsorship, and Fundraising. Salary is DOE. Summer schedule is negotiable. ASC has a new 6,600 sf race training facility and international caliber race/training venue. 7 yrs. min. experience with 2 yrs as head coach required. International experience desired but not required. Detailed job description available.

Unique Position as Program Director
The Hailey Ski Team in Sun Valley Idaho is a competitive, alpine racing only program. We are seeking a high-level coach for a home-based position (no travel requirement). The focus of the position is continued development of our alpine program. Alpine racing is an expensive and arduous pursuit, and therefore we are striving to develop an integrated program of in and out of season fitness, progressive on snow training, and academic support. The scope of the Hailey Ski Team is solely alpine ski racing, with the intent to focus our resources, and draw a motivated and talented athlete base.
The Hailey Ski Team is searching out that person with the experience, commitment, and vision to develop our program. Ski Coach, Alpine Campus, Steamboat Springs

Under the supervision of the Assistant Campus Dean of Student Services, the Ski Coach oversees the operation of the Colorado Mountain College ski team including athlete management; coaching effectiveness; grant in aid scholarships award and continuations; ski team marketing; in house communications; ski team budget, scheduling ad relations with organizations outside of CMC; working with Student and Instructional Services in delivery of activities, courses and sponsoring student groups as assigned.

Requirements: Associate Degree or two year college certificate, vocational school, or technical program beyond high school, business college or similar training efforts and three years experience. Coaches

The Mount Snow Training Center is looking for qualified coaches for the 2008-2009 season. Openings will be in the following positions:


Freestyle - Mogul & Freeride Coaches
Alpine Race Coaches
Snowboard Coaches (Park, Pipe & Race)


Coaches should have USSA, USASA, PSIA or AASI certification. Job functions include but are not limited to: Plan and carry out training activities on the hill. Plan and carry out off-hill athletic training and instruction. Perform event day coaching functions. Confer regularly with immediate supervisor, other company personnel, parents of athletes, and others involved in the program to plan, coordinate and evaluate activities, exchange information, resolve problems, and the like. Attend staff meetings. Prepare all required records and reports on coaching activities. Ability to setup training/event venues (ie. set race course, prepare jump or mogul site, etc) Ability to coach solid safety tactics.
